For those of you who didn’t get a chance to pick up Wolftree magazine and see my illustrations and the article featuring my husband and I. Here’s a chance for you to get a sneak peak at what some of those illustrations looked like in print next to their articles.
Bree Reetz Featured In The HPR
A big thanks to Diane Miller, the editor at the HPR for writing a very flattering article about me and my work as an illustrator. It was great to pick up this week’s issue and find my poster design for the Fargo Film Festival on the front cover along with elements of my illustration throughout! If you’d like to read the article about me and don’t have access to the physical copy, you can read it online here!
Downtown Fargo Chalk Fest
Remember those summers as a kid filled with popsicles and side walk chalk?
Well this morning, artist McCal Joy and myself were each handed a box of chalk and told that we could go wild.
And of course, we had a blast! McCal rendered a colorful Bison while I illustrated a whimsical Jackelope.
Valley News Live – KVLY/KXJB – Fargo/Grand Forks
It’d been a while since either of us had had a chance to pick up chalk and color to our hearts content.
But let me tell you, it comes back to you like riding a bike. And you too, can come and add the colors of
your imagination to the streets of downtown Fargo at Chalk Fest happening tonight at the Great Norther Bike Co.!
Hard to believe a new year is already under way!
Well I’m kicking it off by starting up my own shop!
Keep your eyes peeled, as I’m adding new illustrations daily.
give up completely
abandoned places | revisited
ramshackle walls leak sunshine
color me vivid
my adventuring shoes
young eyes taking in a big world all alone
color me smiling
dear can we go for an adventure?
I want to touch beauty
with my fingertips
but the birds always seem to fly
just out of reach
that doesn’t stop me from trying though
I carry all of the moments
in my pocket at one time
and they make music with my spare change
I’ll keep my dancing shoes on
for times like these
just in case
you never know
what will happen when you step out your door
